Summary:
East Adams Rural Healthcare (EARH) is seeking a Per Diem CT / X-Ray Technologist to provide weekend coverage. This position is responsible for operating X-ray and CT imaging equipment in accordance with Inland Imaging and EARH guidelines to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease and injury.
Duties:
Explain examinations and procedures to patients and properly position patients for X-ray and CT scans.
Prepare, operate, and care for imaging equipment and technical instruments, including those used for the administration of contrast agents.
Perform diagnostic testing on imaging equipment and conduct general maintenance.
Maintain cleanliness of all imaging equipment and examination rooms.
Properly position patients for all testing and determine appropriate voltage and exposure times for each radiograph.
Adjust exposure cones to direct X-rays to specific areas and reduce secondary radiation.
Follow all personal protective equipment requirements for both patients and staff.
Wear a film badge to record radiation exposure.
Accurately code requisitions for billing purposes.
Complete electronic teleradiology forms and submit studies to Inland Imaging for over-read.
Preserve confidentiality of all patient and employee information.

Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
Current Department of Health Radiologic Technologist Certification required as well as ARRT (CT)
Current Department of Health Radiologic Technologist Certification required as well as ARRT (CT)
Must pass a WSP background check
Schedule:
Friday 1700-Monday 0700. Potential for hourly shifts as well
Wage:
Friday 1700-Monday 0700: Flat rate $1550.00
Hourly Monday 0700-Friday 1700 $35.68-$50.87/hour
