Local Physical Therapy

Our rehabilitation services therapists are musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiovascular experts who focus on physical and motor capacity for mobility, hobbies, sports, and daily life tasks.

East Adams Rural Healthcare provides local physical therapy in Adams County five days a week. (Weekend days may be available during busy periods.) Our inpatient services typically require an extended stay at the hospital. Outpatient services are available for patients who need continued therapy and do not require a hospital stay.

Rehabilitation Services

Physical Therapy
Our physical therapists help patients improve their mobility, strength, and endurance. We use a variety of techniques, including exercises, stretching, and massage, to help patients recover from injuries or regain function after surgery.
Speech Therapy Services
EARH speech therapy services help patients who have difficulty communicating due to a stroke, head injury, or other medical condition. They focus on improving patients’ speech, language, and swallowing skills.
Sports Medicine Doctors
Sports medicine doctors use a variety of techniques, including exercises, stretching, and massage, to help athletes regain or improve their range of motion, strength, and endurance. They help athletes improve their biomechanics and prevent future injuries.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapists help patients regain their independence in activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and eating. They also help patients with cognitive and perceptual skills, such as memory, problem-solving, and attention.

Our children’s occupational therapy helps kids improve their fine motor skills, gross motor skills, sensory processing skills, and social-emotional skills for children with developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, sensory processing disorders, or traumatic brain injuries.

Team Rehabilitation Physical Therapy
Rehabilitation therapy helps patients return to normal levels of daily physical activity that restores or enhances their full bodily function with minimal or no pain.

Team rehabilitation physical therapy involves the work of a group of medical specialists who partner together to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services for each patient. EARH works with local and visiting specialists from the surrounding region.
