East Adams Rural Healthcare’s governing board is accountable for the overall administration of our hospital and other medical facilities. Their responsibilities include:
Establishing the hospital’s mission, vision, and values
Developing and approving the hospital’s strategic plan and goals for the future
Hiring and evaluating the hospital’s chief executive officer
Overseeing the hospital’s financial performance and the wise use of funds
Ensuring the quality of patient care
Adopting policies and procedures that govern the hospital’s operations
Building relationships with the local community
