Job Summary:
Speech Language Pathologist will perform therapy services pursuant to their degree and regulatory compliance to maintain a full time IEP caseload in the school setting to include assessment, evaluation, and implementation of care plan. Sole speech therapists on staff but with experienced occupational and physical therapist coworkers support working with school special education team to improve access and learning of school curriculum under IEP. This is FMLA coverage for SLP who would be available to answer questions and orient to caseload. Coverage focused role with currently established student schedule and ongoing plans with flexible hours and documentation time.
- Flexible hours with school schedule and hospital pay
- Primary location: Ritzville Grade School with one partial day in Lind Grade School for treatment and coordination, possible offsite documentation time as long as all IEP requirements met.
Requirements:
- Education: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current Washington State License
- Certification: CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 2 weeks of hire.
- $55-$65/hour, willing to negotiate with independent contractor, Mileage paid
