Summary:
Oversight of the following departments: Emergency Medical Services, Rural Health Clinic, Emergency Department, Physical Therapy, and Care Coordination. Nursing Director will be responsible for contributing to the clinical policies and procedures, direct patient care, regulatory compliance, fiscal responsibilities and participate in East Adams Rural Healthcare’s (EARH) administration team.
Essential Functions:
- Skilled in leading change management to implement new and “best practice “approaches to business processes to improve customer service, operational effectiveness and financial outcomes.
- Position will manage the day-to-day departments listed in position summary.
- Position will facilitate education and training for all staff both for required CE units for licensure and for professional development.
- Position to lead and participate in committees as needed.
- Position will create a positive, supportive work environment for all support staff.
- Position will create a positive, supportive work environment for providers and patients.
Education: An associate’s degree in nursing, (BSN) or higher preferred.
Experience Required: Three to five years’ relevant direct patient care experience combined with progressive experience in nursing leadership.
Experience Preferred: Critical Access Hospital, Long term care, Acute Care, Outpatient, Knowledge and experience working with a wide-ranging population (Adolescence to Geriatric).
Licenses/Certification: Active Washington RN license, current BLS, TNCC, ACLS and PALS
