Therapy Services Hours

  • Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 5:00pm
  • Friday: 7:30am – 3:00pm
  • Flexible scheduling to meet specific needs are available upon request

Rehabilitation therapists are musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiovascular experts who focus on physical and motor capacity for mobility, hobbies, sports, and daily life tasks. East Adams Rural Healthcare has both outpatient and inpatient treatment programs 5 days a week with an additional weekend day as need dictates.

East Adams Rural Healthcare’s Physical and Occupational Therapists provide:

  • Rehabilitation Therapy Services

    • Non-invasive resolution and management of musculoskeletal, neurological, or cardiovascular conditions
    • Physical diagnostic and modern treatment plan provided under the care of Doctors of Physical Therapy
    • Neuromuscular reeducation to improve mobility, ambulation, vertigo, and balance
    • Neurologic Rehabilitation following disease process or acute injuries such as stroke or Parkinson’s Disease
    • Orthopedic and sports injuries involving muscle, tendon, ligament, joints, and soft tissue.
    • Surgical care to maximize return, improve function, and increase the life of repair or replacement
    • Pain management through mobility, strength, and support of the human body’s natural healing ability through movement
    • Cognitive sharpening following injury or management of natural effects of aging
    • Oral and dysphagia (Swallowing) dysfunction treatment and management
    • Continuity of care with Therapy provided from Inpatient to outpatient settings
    • Community Exercise classes addressing community trends seen by local therapists
    • Speech Therapy - services for swallowing disorders, dementia, and pediatric outpatient. Qualified to service birth through death in the areas of speech, language, cognition, swallowing, voice, fluency, and AAC devices.

 

Swing Bed Program

We offer Rehabilitation stays with all three therapy disciplines, with capability to provide 2-3 times the treatment and care hour than current industry standard.

 

The Therapy Department is also available within the community for partnerships in offering fall prevention programs, independence through the lifespan, and collaborating with local schools and sports programs.
