East Adams Rural Healthcare offers Acute Care for patients who are seen within our facility that require temporary prolonged medical assistance and need admitted for observation or treatment of a medical condition. Admittance is typically 24-72 hours but can have a longer duration depending on your condition.
Acute Patients may receive the following services:
- IV Medications
- Minimal Cardiac Monitoring
- Respiratory monitoring for those experiencing Respiratory Issues such as pneumonia
- Imaging
- Labs
- Medications and Treatments as necessary
- 24 hour monitoring and observation
- Stabilization and Transfer to another facility for a higher level of care if needed.
